Berry Chia Seed Jam


Makes a little over 1 cup

  • 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

  • 1/2 cup honey or agave

  • 2.5 Tbsp. chia seeds

  • 1.5 Tsp. fresh lemon juice



  1. In a large saucepan mix strawberries, blueberries, and honey(agave). Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir in chia seeds and reduce heat to a medium-low.

  2. Simmer (uncovered) stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes or until it thickens a little. The mixture will thicken more as it cools and even more as it chills.

  3. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in lemon juice.

  4. Once the Jam cools to room temperature, put in a jar or container to store.
